The Society of Dorset Men celebrates and is enthusiastic about all things Dorset, including the Dorset dialect. They enjoy a membership of over 900 and will celebrate their 120th anniversary this year. A number of meetings are held throughout the year as well as outings and dinners - a few pictured here, from lunch on the Swanage Railway, a boat trip round Poole Harbour, their annual County Dinner with their then President, Lord Fellowes of West Stafford, in April 2024....plus a couple of pictures of Society's June walk of Wareham, taking in the sights including the Saxon wall,
the river and old moat - and of course cream teas...and their Christmas Lunch at Blandford's Crown Hotel on 1 December, 2024.
